Save the Dates!

This week has a rather impressive list of shows. Noise Pop came and went last week, but there is plenty going on in the coming days with less of an impact on the wallet.

In addition to Saturday's show featuring Dead Ghosts and Banshee Boardwalk (see Save the Date: March 8.), here are four more shows that should be on your radar.

Tuesday March 4. (Two Shows!)

Impose Magazine's 2014 Imposition Tour, which kicked off in Seattle last Friday, Feb. 28, makes a stop in Oakland at The New Parish.

The lineup is headlined by Oakland's own Shannon and the Clams and San Francisco garage-rockers, CCR Headcleaner.

The lineup also includes Gravys Drop and Calvin Love.

It'll cost $12 online or $15 at the door, be sure to get tickets soon and catch some great local tunes.

Across the Bay, San Francisco rockers, Cool Ghouls kick off their joint March residency with Cellar Doors at Amnesia.

Every Tuesday this month (that's four chances to catch these great local acts) the bands will be co-headlining the Valencia street venue, with support coming from the likes of The Spyrals, The Acharis and Violent Change.

Opening for them tonight are Useless Eaters, who will
headline at The Depot later this week (see March 6. below).

The show will cost $8 and starts at 9 p.m.

Wednesday March 5. (Two Shows!)

Hump day can be tough to overcome. Rolling yourself down to Bottom of the Hill to see together PANGEA will make it that much easier to handle the rest of the work week.

These garage rockers and former Burger Records stars from Los Angeles released their third full length LP earlier this year (see Paste Magazine's review here), and always get the crowd moving during their live sets.

Supporting them on the bill are Mozes And The First Born and Burning Curtains (no website available).

$10 gets you in. Show starts at 9 p.m.

Another great show features Oakland's surf-rock wiz kids, Meat Market at El Rio.

The band is kicking off their March Madness Tour which will see them play nine states, with stops in Texas for South by Southwest, as well as Canada, before returning to the Bay on March 29. for a show in Oakland.

This Alcoholocaust Presents show also features YI and Copout.

There is no way to enter unless you're 21 and have $7 at the door. It starts at 9 p.m. and goes until midnight.

Thursday March 6.

Who doesn't enjoy spending extra time on campus after their classes are over?

San Francisco State's event and concert venue, The Depot, are looking to disrupt any midweek studying by throwing on a Bay Area garage rock showcase headlined by Useless Eaters.

Also on the bill are The Sweethearts, who released a free EP last month, Scraper, and MANE.

The Depot is located in side the Cesar Chavez Student Center on SFSU's campus.

This is a free all ages show (drinks served at the pub to those 21 and over). It's an early show as well, starting at 6 p.m. and ending at 9 p.m., so yes Mom and Dad, homework will get done.
